The National Energy Efficiency Awards 2006

National Energy Efficiency Awards

The Awards were launched for the first time in 2006 and were a nationwide success, attracting over 170 quality entries.

Sponsored by EDF Energy and supported by the English Partnerships and with the Independent as its national media partner, the 2006 Awards were presented for successful implementation of innovative, cost effective and transferable energy efficiency measures across 9 categories. The call for entries was launched in June 2006 with the deadline for nominations at the beginning of September 2006. 170 entries were received across the categories and after a two stage judging process 49 entries were shortlisted.

The winners of the inaugural National Energy Efficiency Awards 2006 were announced at a prestigious ceremony held at the Science Museum on 6th December.  For full details of the winners and finalists, click here.
