The National Energy Efficiency Awards 2007

The National Energy Efficiency Awards celebrate the achievements of individuals and their organisations in significantly reducing energy use. By so doing, they highlight the importance of energy efficiency in combating climate change and seek to inspire other individuals and organisaitons to emulate their achievements. The Awards encompass the full range of energy users including large and small companies, the public sector, schools and community groups.
Sponsored by EDF Energy, and also supported by the Independent newspaper, the Awards showcase successful implementation of innovative, cost effective and transferable energy efficiency measures across a number of categories.
Winning a National Energy Efficiency Award can provide your organisation with high profile national recognition for environmental good practice and showcase your work to an international audience.
Through the media partnership with the Independent newspaper (circulation c250,000, estimated readership 700,000) all short listed entries will feature in a full colour supplement published in the Independent on the week of the Awards ceremony.
The National Energy Efficiency Awards ceremony was held at the London Aquarium on Wednesday 5th December. Over 150 guests attended and the keynote speaker was Dick Strawbridge. The 2007 Awards supplement produced by the Independent Newspaper will be available here as a pdf shortly.
